Pakistan’s army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said they are working to bring peace and stability to the whole of West Asia. He said that it contributes to the stability of Afghanistan and that the stability and security of this country contribute to the stability of the whole region.
Bajwa added that the unrest in Afghanistan over the past few decades has had a direct impact on Pakistan, which is why the Pakistani government now wants lasting stability in Afghanistan. He also expressed concern over the current economic and humanitarian situation here and called for international assistance and cooperation.
