The 7th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) kicked off in Islamabad on Tuesday, March 22, hosted by Pakistan.
The two-day meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) as well as the Chinese Foreign Minister. Addressing the gathering, Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi pointed out stability and stability in Afghanistan among other issues.

According to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan also called for more humanitarian assistance to Afghans at today’s meeting. He added: “I urge the Afghan people to make more efforts to provide humanitarian assistance and urge the Afghan people to ensure that Afghan soil is not used as a haven for terrorist groups.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzada, speaking at a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), also stressed the need for unity in the Islamic world in order to resolve the ongoing problems.
