India and Turkmenistan have supported lasting stability and peace in Afghanistan. The Indian president, who is currently on a visit to Turkmenistan, said in a recent statement that he had discussed with his Turkmen counterpart the current situation in Afghanistan and the future.
Indian President Ram Nath Kovind has said that the situation and stability of the entire region depend on the situation in Afghanistan and therefore the countries of the region are trying to bring lasting stability to the country.

He says India and Turkmenistan have also stressed the importance of implementing the TAPI project, and both countries have said that Afghanistan’s stability is important for the implementation of such large-scale projects.
