According to Indian media reports, the Afghan Taliban government has asked India to open an embassy in Kabul.
Suhail Shaheen, head of the Taliban’s Qatar office, said on Thursday that the Taliban government was ready to provide a safe environment for India’s diplomatic presence in Kabul, which is important for bilateral relations between the two countries.
“We urge all countries, including India, which have embassies in Kabul, to open their embassies and resume normal operations,” Shaheen said. We are committed to providing them with a safe and secure environment. “Diplomatic presence is important for the development of bilateral relations.”
Mr. Shaheen did not post the details on his Twitter account. But yesterday, a private university in Kandahar published pictures of many girls and boys graduating and congratulated them on their graduation.

India has shipped 8,000 tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan in four phases since the fall of the Taliban and plans to import a total of 50,000 tonnes.
Pakistan has been obstructing the flow of Indian wheat aid to Afghanistan and has been delaying it for months.
India has provided nearly 4 4 billion in aid to Afghanistan over the past 20 years, including numerous roads, bridges, buildings and power plants.
