Mullah Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, Acting Minister of Defense of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said that their efforts to build a well-organized and strong army are in full swing. He said in a recent interview that 110,000 troops have been recruited into the new ANA so far.
He said they were doing their utmost to protect the entire territory of the country and would not allow terrorist groups to pose a threat to Afghan neighbors and the rest of the world.
He reiterated that they would spare no effort to protect and defend their countrymen and would do their utmost to safeguard the country’s honor and dignity.
