Dollar smuggling to Pakistan stopped in Nangarhar Security officials in Nangarhar say they have arrested a man in the town of Torkham who was trying to smuggle US $ 5,000 into Pakistan. Torkham Commissioner Syed Ghaziullah Hashimi said the detainee had confessed to the crime and said in a preliminary investigation that he had transferred the dollars to Pakistan for profit. Hashemi added that an investigation has been launched into the arrest and will be handed over to the judiciary soon.
