Pakistan’s young and fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has overtaken Afghanistan’s leading slow bowler Rashid Khan in the latest rankings.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest rankings for ODI bowlers, with Shaheen Shah Afridi making the most progress and being included in the top 10 bowlers.
Trent Bolt tops the rankings, Chris Vokes, who was previously in third place, is now in second place, and Josh Hazlewood, who was previously in second place, is now in third place.
But Shaheen Shah Afridi has moved up to 8th position and is now in 7th position, ahead of Rashid Khan. Rashid Khan used to be in the ninth position, but now he has slipped one place to the tenth position.
But Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, another leading slow bowler in the Afghan national cricket team, is still in the fifth position, ahead of Matt Henry and Jaspreet Burma.
