At least four people were killed and three others injured in a roadside bomb blast in northern Baghlan province on Friday. Qari Mohammad Nazir Abidi, Baghlan’s traffic manager, said the vehicle was heading towards the Bannu district of Baghlan when it veered off the road near Khoshdara village in the district and fell into the Andarab River. He said two people were killed and two others were injured in the incident. The injured were taken to Khinjan District Health Clinic where their condition is said to be stable.
It is to be noted that from time to time many people are killed and injured due to traffic accidents in different parts of the country, which is often considered a major cause of carelessness of motorists.
