With the help of Quentin de Kock and Evin Lewis, the Lakno Super Giants managed to beat the Chinese Super Kings and claim their first victory in the EPL. The seventh match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was played today between the Chinese Super Kings and Lakno Super Giants. The Lakno Super Giants won the toss and elected to field the Chinese Super Kings first.
The Chinese Super Kings scored 210 runs in the allotted 20 overs with seven wickets in hand, including Robin Otapa 50, Shivam Doby 49, Moin Ali 35, and Ambati Rayudu 27. Owais Khan, Andrew Tye, and Roy Bishnoi were bowled out for 2-2 by Lakno.

The Lucknow Super Giants completed the target of 211 runs in 19.3 overs with 4 wickets in hand and secured their first victory in the EPL. The Chinese Super Kings also lost the second match.
Quentin de Kock 61, Evin Lewis 55 not out, KL Rahul 40 and Ayush Badoni 19 not out for Lakno. Dwayne Pretorius 2, Tishar Dishpandi, and Dwayne Bravo took 1-1 wickets each for China.
It is to be noted that this was the second match between China and Lakno, both teams had lost their first match, but the Chinese also lost the second match and Lakno won the first match.
The eighth match of the EPL will be played tomorrow, March 8, between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings. The match kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Afghan time.
