Before the Islamic Emirate came to power, meetings were held in Doha, Qatar, and in Brussels and Moscow.
Since the advent of the Islamic Emirate, there have been numerous international conferences on Afghanistan in the last seven months. The meetings began with an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, which was repeated three more times.
The Security Council requested that in addition to the International Atomic Energy Agency’s ongoing inspections in Iran, it monitor Iran’s compliance with “the steps required by the IAEA Board”.
A meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was also held in Pakistan, which was attended by representatives of 57 countries, and a delegation from the Islamic Emirate was also invited. This was followed by another large and important regional meeting in Islamabad, which was Troika Plus and was attended by representatives of Russia, China, Pakistan, and the United States.
At the same time, India has called for a meeting with Central Asian countries to facilitate the Troika Plus summit, on the one hand, and to ensure that the threat of terrorism in Afghanistan does not spread to the region.
Some political analysts believe that the outcomes and effects of these meetings were very positive and that the Islamic Emirate’s face-to-face meetings with the world took place.
Habibullah Janbdar, a political analyst, said: “Last year, conferences and meetings were held on Afghanistan and diplomatic groups met. We can say that the government of Afghanistan has been de facto accepted. But some of the content of these conferences remains and has not been discussed, so I think this series will continue this year as well, during which the groundwork will be laid for its recognition. ”
The last and most important of these series of meetings was the meeting of the Turkish Antalya Forum, in which the Islamic Emirate presented its demands to the world.
Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mottaki said Afghanistan was now independent and the world should help them achieve political stability and economic self-sufficiency.
Experts believe that important meetings will be held in the future, the effects of which will be even better and more likely to lead to the recognition of many countries.
Sayed Haroon Pacha, a political analyst, said: “You can be sure that next year you will see a lot of changes. More countries will recognize them and more countries will come, opening offices here. Because they showed the world that what you think is not us. “Especially in Turkey, the pious, who spoke very well.”
However, some say that there are still some interactions, the outcome of which depends on the position of the Islamic Emirate.
Qarib-ur-Rehman Shahab, a political analyst, said: “The meetings on Afghanistan over the past six months have been very effective in managing and managing the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, but also with the Islamic Emirate. Political interaction did not have practical results. But there are a number of conditions, depending on the Taliban’s actions. ”
Earlier in the day, Lutfullah Hakimi, chairman of the Geneva Settlement Commission, led a 13-member delegation to meet with Swiss civil society activists, but the details were not released to the media and were more civil than political.
All of these meetings focused on the international community’s call for humanitarian assistance to Afghans and respect for the human rights of the Taliban’s caretaker government.
On the other hand, the Islamic Emirate called for good relations with them in all meetings and conferences, including recognition and the release of the money.
