Experts then point to the ‘Like, Share and Response’ component, among other similarities, which are similar to the new application and popular social media platform Twitter, enabled by Donald Trump technology company TMTG.
Trout Social will be a censorship-free experience, but any application running on the App Store or Google Play will remove content that violates the rules, Mr Nonis says.
Following the US presidential election, Mr Trump’s supporters stormed the US Congress building, prompting major media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook to block him or block his accounts on their pages.
Mr. Trump and his advisers have since signaled several times that they want to launch their own media outlet.
He started commenting on Donald Trump’s page early last year, but it was usually referred to as a blog. The site was permanently shut down a month after it was launched.
