(Taand/14 October 2019) Afghanistan Independent Election Commission released new data about the September 28 President Election.
IEC says the data of 22,588 Bio-metric devices data shows 1.7 Million people voted in Presidential Elections.
“The votes of another 3,980 polling sites are yet to be proceeded.” said Head of IEC Hawa Alam Nuristani in a press conference today Monday in Kabul.
She says the number is not final and could be changed due to ongoing votes process.
The primary results to be announced withing 5 days but some sources say the announce the preliminary results of the election could be delayed over technical issues.
