The United Nations, the European Union and the United States have condemned yesterday’s incident in Afghanistan. The two sides said in a statement that they condemned such brutal attacks on schools and education in Afghanistan and called for the perpetrators to be arrested.

The State Department said in a statement that it was joining the international community in condemning the attack and called on the Afghan government to bring the perpetrators to justice.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has reiterated that such brutal attacks on schools, children and educational institutions violate all international law. The European Union (EU) has said it strongly condemns the attack and extends its condolences to the victims.
