The European Union has pledged its support and cooperation with Afghanistan Bank. A statement issued by Da Afghanistan Bank said that the bank officials had met with two representatives of the European Union in Kabul.
The meeting focused on the situation at the Central Bank and other related economic issues. Officials at Da Afghanistan Bank said they are committed to all international banking laws and strive to continue providing their services in accordance with international laws and standards.
Representatives of the European Union (EU) also said they were committed to cooperating with Afghanistan Bank, but the central bank did not elaborate on the nature of the assistance in its statement.
