Officials at the General Directorate of Passports say there are restrictions on the distribution of five-year passports. From now on, five-year passports will be issued only to those under the age of 15, according to a statement issued by the Passport Department. According to the source, those above the age of 15 should buy ten-year passports instead of five.
The Afghan Passport Department did not provide further details. The Passport Department points out that the affairs of the Afghan Passport Department are still not well organized, the number of passport holders is high and the services of the department are limited.
