Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has been fired. Imran Khan has been fired by the Pakistani cabinet in a recent decision but will continue to act as caretaker prime minister until a new prime minister is named. There have been widespread protests and tensions in Pakistan in recent days.
Mr. Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, shall continue as Prime Minister till the appointment of caretaker Prime Minister under Article 224 A (4) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Opponents of Imran Khan have called for his removal, but he has offered to dissolve parliament. Pakistan’s cabinet has fired Imran Khan in a recent decision to replace him with a new prime minister.
