Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has said that he was looking for a more emotional story after the release of the (Kabir Singh) movie, which can be seen in (Jersey) movie.
Speaking to Press Trust of India on Friday, Shahid Kapoor said that his goal was to save the audience with a story that has romance, emotion, and humor.
The 6-year-old actor has proved himself with his successful films (Ishq Washq), (Jab We Met), (Viva), (Kamini), (Haider), and (Kabir Singh). He plays a former cricketer in (Jersey), returning to cricket for his son.
He said that after the Kabir Singh film, he was looking for a story that would give the audience a full experience and meet the expectations of the people.
The Jersey film is the second film made in which Shahid Kapoor has played the lead role. He believes that good material, whether in any language or culture, travels through time.
