New Zealand defeated the Netherlands in a 50 overs match

Against the Netherlands, the New Zealand cricket team easily defended their 265-run target and won the match 2-0.

This is the second match of the series between the two teams in the World Cup Super League series, which took place in Hamilton, at the start of the match the Dutch team won the toss and elected to bowl. New Zealand scored 264 runs in 50 overs with 9 wickets in hand and set a target of 265 for the Netherlands.

They were followed by Tom Benton (140) and Doug Brookel (41). For the Netherlands, Logan Van Beck took 4, Fred Klaassen 3, Peter Seller, and Mitchell Repin 1-1. The Dutch were bowled out for 146 in the 35th over with all the wickets burnt in pursuit of the 265-run target and lost by a huge margin of 118 runs.

Mitchell Brockwell was the best bowler in New Zealand, taking 3 wickets. Ash Soodie and Kyle Jameson took 202, Colin de Grandhomme, Blair Teckner and Doug Brookel 1-1 wikcet.
