“Thousands of people (Pashtuns) have been killed, hundreds of thousands have been made homeless, markets and houses have been destroyed, hundreds of thousands of rupees have been lost, extrajudicial killings continue, thousands are homeless and homeless “Pashtun Afghans are being branded as terrorists and extremists in the world through false propaganda.”

Ishaq Wazir, an English professor at Bannu College, says Bannu has historical, political and geographical significance. And is considered the center of Pashtun national politics.
He told VOA that Bannu is the center of Pashtuns living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and Kabul is a short distance from Peshawar.
According to the professor, the movement for the liberation of Faqir Api and the progressive writers of Pashtuns was not formed from this place and the treaty of Pakhtunistan was also passed in Bannu in 1947, which is the reason why more people’s eyes are on the issue of nation. Be to Bannu.
He said the people of the area, who are unaware of their rights and have been subjected to more extremist and military operations, would gain political and awareness through the jirga. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation.
Hayat Yousafzai, a sociology professor at Bacha Khan University, says such jirgas have been held in the past and Pashtuns have been able to resolve their problems through jirgas.
He said the Pashtuns were now facing a number of other problems besides insecurity and lack of control over their own resources, both domestically and internationally. But the whole nation is not in unison to gain power by means and against insecurity.
He told V&A that it is a good practice to hold a Jirga for the benefit of the nation and through this Jirga, the nation will seek solutions to the problems facing the nation.
Ahead of the Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party’s Qami Jirga, the Awami National Party held a “Pashtun Qami Jirga” on March 10, 2020 at the Bacha Khan Center in Peshawar, in which political, economic, educational and Other issues were discussed and a 21-point joint statement was issued to resolve them.
