Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said Russia plans to launch a “massive war” in Europe that has not been seen since 1945.
He told the BBC in an exclusive interview that there were indications that implementation of the plan had already begun.
According to Johnson, intelligence indicates that Russia intends to lay siege to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, after the invasion.
According to him, people should be aware that such a potential war would cause huge head injuries.
Boris Johnson and a number of other world leaders are currently meeting in Munich, Germany, for an international security conference, and the current situation in Ukraine is a key item on the agenda.
The U.S. government estimates that between 170,000 and 190,000 Russian troops are currently stationed near the Ukrainian border.
But Russia denies the allegations and insists it has no plans to invade Ukraine or start a war in Europe.
