Due to heavy rain and flooding in at least 10 provinces, about 22 civilians have lost their lives while at least 30 others were injured, said Mawlawi Sharafudin Muslim, the Deputy Minister of Natural Disaster.
The past two days of heavy rainfall brought flash floods causing vast financial and human losses to the residents of Faryab, Prarwan, Ghor, Maidan Wardak, Baghlan and Kandahar provinces.
