Popular Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has described his time in jail as difficult and full of difficulties, but the Muslim prisoners who were with him have fond memories of him.
He says that the Muslim prisoners in the prison served me very well because there was hot tea at four o’clock in the morning and those Muslims would wake us all Hindus and drink tea over it.
He says that the tea and food were brought for the Muslims, to make a few presents but they would share their share with the Hindus, which was their greatness and they knew that we are all one.
Sanjay Dutt says, “I got excited in prison and I would make a lot of things. We would make about 50-60 bags and in return, we would get 50 paise, which was also a total of 500 rupees.
He adds that what I learned inside the prison, he could not teach me in this colorful world, where I read all the books of my religion.
