The construction of a township officially began today. Haji Lal Mohammad, Representative of the Chief Minister, Torkham Commissioner Syed Ghaziullah Hashimi, Director of Public Works Maulvi Yar Mohammad Mohammadi, and other officials were present at the inauguration ceremony.
According to the information, all the shops, bars, offices will be shifted to this new town and will be relocated on a regular basis.
Local officials say the right to settle in the new town will be given to anyone operating in the old town.
