The Ministry of Public Works says it will employ hundreds of professionals in Kabul and the provinces through open competition.
A spokesman for the ministry, Hamidullah Misbah, said on his Twitter account that the ministry had released more than 400 different professional third and fourth-tier posts in the capital and provinces to provide jobs to qualified people and attract technical and professional cadres. The ministry said eligible candidates could submit their applications by the 30th of this month.
The move by the Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) to hire professionals comes at a time when many who used to work in the former republic say they are unemployed.
