Explosion in Helmand; Seven members of a family were injured
Local Taliban officials in Helmand province say seven members of a family, including children, were injured in an explosion in the Marjah district of the province.
According to officials, the incident took place on Friday evening in the Dasht area of Marjah district.
According to local sources, the blast was caused by bullets left over from the war that exploded at the family home.
Mohammad Qasim Riyadh, deputy head of the Taliban’s information and culture department in Helmand, told media that seven members of a family, including their father, mother and five children, were injured in the incident.
According to him, the injured were taken to a hospital for treatment and are receiving medical care.
It is worth mentioning that the explosion of unexploded ordnance and bombs always takes victims from people in different parts of the country.
