In response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the International Federation of Badminton, Boating and Skiing banned Russian and Belarusian athletes from participating in international competitions.

The Lamba International Federation has also canceled international games in those countries, saying that Russian athletes will compete individually.
The football federation has banned Russia from participating in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and the women’s soccer team will not be allowed to compete in Europe.
The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committees have demanded that Russian and Belarusian athletes be barred from participating in the Games.
Russia invaded Ukraine last week, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians and displacing about 500,000 others, according to officials. The United States and Europe have condemned the attack and imposed sanctions on Russia.
