When the President is Targeted…

The Taliban suicide bombings at the election rally and at Kabul square have killed at least 48 people and wounded dozens, including many women and children. These attacks have made September 17th the deadliest single day since the peace agreement with the Taliban was called off.

The first attack targeted a rally for Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani. His close brush with death may well prove to be his wake-up call.

President Ghani is the Commander-in-Chief of the Afghan Armed Forces, consisting of the Afghan National Army and the Afghan Air Force, administratively controlled through the Ministry of Defense. Thereby, he is in the unique position of being able to implement a little-known proven means of preventing violence, war, and terrorism: Invincible Defense Technology (IDT).

Invincible Defense Technology: A Non-Religious Brain-based Approach

IDT utilizes brain-based technology via the non-religious Transcendental Meditation (TM) and the more advanced TM-Sidhi programs. Extensive peer-reviewed scientific research has repeatedly confirmed that when large groups of experts practice these advanced techniques together, a powerful field effect is generated which affects the surrounding population. This results in measurable decreases in war deaths, terrorism, and crime whenever IDT is utilized.

A study published in May 2019 in Studies in Asian Social Science, 6(2), 1-45, found that IDT implementation by students trained in the advanced TM techniques resulted in a 96% decline in sociopolitical violence in war-torn Cambodia as compared to violence in the preceding three years.

The Global Union of Scientists for Peace (GUSP) advocates IDT as a cost-effective, simple means to rapidly reduce the societal stresses held to be the underlying cause of terrorism and war (see: https://www.gusp.org/global-peace-summit).

Invincible Defense Technology: A Scientific Field-Tested Approach

The Afghan Armed Forces are capable of training and maintaining groups of experts in this advanced IDT strategy by creating a Prevention Wing of the Military. This Prevention Wing would practice IDT programs twice a day in large groups to defuse terrorism and social tensions. Studies have shown repeatedly that this method works and will continue to work as long as the peace-creating groups are maintained. Those who have engaged in acts of violence will no longer do so, and the ongoing reign of terrorism will end.

Invincible Defense Technology: A Timely Approach

Now is the time for President Ashraf Ghani to implement IDT for Afghanistan, for his own safety as well as for the safety of his countrymen. There are militaries globally that are currently utilizing IDT training for their personnel, with great success and positive societal results for their countries. A minimum of 600 trained experts practicing the IDT techniques twice a day would be enough to alleviate terrorism in Afghanistan. Afghanistan cannot afford to wait any longer.
