I removed all the hatred out of my heart
Now I have repented from hunting
Now I don’t disturb the Baghdadi pigeons in sewers
I’m just busy with
Sewing beads on bird traps
And making anklets for the white pigeons
Now I make wine out of an orphaned lamb’s tears
And sell them cheap to the heartless people
To remove the spite from their hearts

I removed all the hatred out of my heart
Now I don’t hit a traveler with stones
Now I Don’t cut the flowers
I pick the thrones from the footpaths
I kiss the passing through child
I take the hand of an elderly person

Now I don’t seek vengeance against my enemies
Now I don’t cover a beehive with mud
I throw a stone toward a snake
But I don’t hit it
I just save myself from it
And that’s only for the sake of my friendship with Rahman*
Now I’m cross with my dreams
And searching for a name in Quran’s golden pages

I removed all the hatred out of my heart
Now I don’t have a gun strapped to my shoulder
I have made a whistle out of it’s barrel
Which I play love ballads with
All this only for you
Because they say
In paradise the Houris are like you

People in our area (Zurmat) believe that if someone sees a snake, they should hit the snake with a stone, if not so Rahman will get upset with them.
As Rahman Baba points in this poem
If someone sees a snake
And not hit it
He is not my friend
یوازې ستا لپاره
له زړه مي ټولې کرکې وایستلې
اوس مې له ښکار ځنې توبه کړې ده
اوس له کارېز نه بغدادي کوترې نه کټوم
او بس تمامه ورځ لګیا یم
په دامونو کي مرۍ پېيمه
سپینو کوترو ته پايزېب جوړوم
اوس د بې موره وري له اوښکو نه
شراب جوړوم
او په سخت زړو یې ارزانه پلورم
چې یې له زړونو کینې کډه وکړي
له زړه مي ټولې کرکی وایستلې
اوس مساپر په کاڼو نه ولمه
اوس ګلان نه شکوم
له لارو نه اغزي ټولوم
په لاره تلونکی ماشوم ښکل کړم
دسپین ږیري بوډا لاس ونیسم
له زړه مي ټولې کرکې وایستلې
اوس له دښمن نه کسات نه اخلمه
اوس دغومبسو کور په خټه باندي
په مار د کاڼي ګوزار وکړم
خو خطا یې ولم
بس هسي ځان ترې ژغورم
هغه هم هسي درحمان* دیارانې په خاطر
اوس له خوبونو مرور یم
ټوله شپه په تلاوت تېروم
او دقرآن زرینو پاڼو کي
یو نوم لټوم
له زړه مې ټولې کرکې وایستلې
اوس مي ټوپک پر اوږه نسته
او له میل نه یې شپېلۍ جوړه ده
په کي دمیني ترانې غږوم
داټول دا ستا لپاره
ځکه دوې وایې
په جنت کي حورې ستا غوندې دي!!!
علم گل سحر ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
· زموږ په سیمه (زرمت) کي خلک په دې باور دي، چې که څوک مار وویني، باید حتمادکاڼي ګوزار پرې وکړي، کنه رحمان بابا خپه کیږی دوی وایي چې رحمان بابا په دې اړه فرمايلي دي:
چې څوک وویني مار
او پرې ونه کړي ګوزار
هغه نه دی زما يار.
