According to the local officials, the ISIL terrorists also killed eight civilians and injured seven others during an attack in Kot district.
Provincial governor’s spokesman Ataullah Khogyani confirmed that women and children were among those killed or wounded during the attack by ISIL loyalists.
He said clashes continued between the Afghan forces and the ISIL militants in Kot district since early Friday ad at least 40 ISIL loyalists have been killed so far. Khogyani further added that 32 militants of the terrorist group have also been wounded during the clashes.
The loyalists of ISIL terrorist group have not commented regarding the report so far.
In the meantime, the supporters of the terrorist group earlier shared pictures of the attack in Kot district which purportedly shows burnt houses as well as dead bodies left in the area following the attack.
