The word of conscience, if heard by a man, soon makes him think of the good and bad consequences of his actions. There is a limit to what a human being can do if they run away from a crime. If you still successfully escape from crime and find yourself in a secluded and safe place for a while, what do you think? Are you still relaxed?
No, never, because if you have a conscience, you will never sleep peacefully, you will never eat with an appetite, and you will never be happy. Scholars say: Avoid the torment of conscience because it is the conscience that proves a man’s guilt and safety in a very short time. It is better to keep away from the torment of conscience.
If you run away from the rule of law, you are still not safe forever, and it will console you for the rest of your life. It is better for a poor horse than none at all. It is better for a poor horse than none at all.
