In the light of law and constitution and belief on independency of media, we strongly request from respected president of Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Ruhhani and other authorities to assist in releasing of human right activist and journalist NargisMohammadi, which is in prison in Iran.
Every member of society, especially a journalist, columnist, writer, social and human right activist has the right to rise his voice and pick his pen for gaining the basic rights of his society and has the right to speak against unjust and against law activities of authorities. And for these activities if he or she is seized and imprisoned or killed by authorities then it is against social and civil law, as we know in case of Nargis that police have tortured her a lot.
NargisMohammadi is vice president of human rights vindication society whose founder and chief is Mrs.ShirinEbadi, a noble prize winner. Mrs.Mohammadi also imprisoned for six years in 2012 and 2010 for her social and human right activities but we believe that even if he imprisoned for the whole life, in spite of that she will continue her struggle and efforts in this regard as this is her duty and her life.
Like other journalists and human right activist, I also demand for quick release from prison of NargisMohmmadi, a mother of two kits and request from United Nations, Human right watch, International humanitarian agencies to stress on government of Islamic republic of Iran to release NargisMohammadi as soon as possible.
Iran is one of these countries which besides human right activist also sending to prison social activist and those journalists which also explore the truth. For example Jason Rezain, head of Washington Post in Iran imprisoned from government of Iran along with her wife and a photographer in case of spying which later his wife and photographer released but Jason Rezain is still faced with an unknown fate in prison.
Few time back, brother of Jason Rezain, Ali Rezain requested me in an email for assisting him in releasing his brother. According to him his brother was struggling for creating good relation and bringing close nations of Iran and USA through his field journalism but due unknown reasons and crime police seized his home and captured him. I request from international community of journalism and human rights to release my brother from prison, said his brother
According to him; While in prison, my brother has faced serious health issues, including rapid weight loss, depression, and an eye infection that’s threatening to cause permanent damage to his vision. My brother desperately needs to see a doctor, but instead he’s forced to sit in prison, subjected to unnecessary suffering and human rights violations, while the government won’t even acknowledge any specific wrongdoing.
Besides this a Canadian nationality holder Iranian woman, Huma Hodfar captured by Iranian authorities for unknown reason and crime. Mrs. Hodfar is anthropologist serving as professor in Concordia University. In a statement from her family it is said that she is imprisoned for unknown reasons.
