The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in a recent report that more than 279,000 Afghan refugees have returned from neighboring countries in the last four months of 2022.
Ocha said in a report released to the media last week that a total of 279,600 Afghans had returned to their homeland from Iran and Pakistan between April 2022 and April 26, 202. 51,700 have returned from Iran and another 28,000 from Pakistan.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has said it has not received any reports of new Afghans displaced by conflict and natural disasters in Afghanistan in 2022.
The Ocha report shows that more than 250,000 Afghans have returned from Iran in the past four months.
