The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said in a statement issued on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr that it would continue to stand by the Afghan people.
The organization said that Afghans have spent years in war and they have the right to live side by side in peace and security.
UNAMA reiterated its commitment to stand by the Afghan people and to continue to work with the Afghan people to ensure a peaceful and prosperous life in Afghanistan.
