The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) says that imports of Pakistani goods to Afghanistan have dropped significantly.
Naseer Ahmad Arabzada, a member of the chamber, said the reason for the decline in imports of Pakistani goods to Afghanistan was the decline in demand for Pakistani products in the country. He added that now for various reasons, people are not interested in Pakistani goods. Arabzada says the decline in imports from Pakistan to Afghanistan is due to a number of factors, including the increase in revenue from a number of products and the decline in demand for Pakistani products in Afghanistan.
On the other hand, economic analysts say that the reliance of Afghan traders on Pakistani goods has decreased and many Afghan traders have shifted to Central Asian countries.
