Afghan swimmer Abbas Karimi has won a gold medal in the 50m at Indianapolis.
This Afghan-American, who is now in the United States; He wrote on his Facebook page that he participated in the competition as an American citizen.
Karimi added; I am proud to be American and to have won a gold medal for the first time as an American.
Karimi added that he would compete in the 50-meter backstroke in the next race.
