A local Indian court on April 5 summoned actor Salman Khan and his bodyguard on charges of taking a phone call from a journalist, prompting the actor to appear before the Mumbai High Court.
Popular actor Salman Khan has sought the removal of summons against him in the Mumbai Supreme Court. Salman Khan’s plea will be heard today.
The altercation between Salman and the journalist started on April 24, 2019, when Salman Khan was riding a bicycle and the journalist was taking pictures of him, in response to which Salman Khan took his mobile phone.
The reporter then complained to the court, as the local police did not want anyone to file a complaint against Salman Khan.
The reporter alleged that he had taken permission from Salman Khan’s bodyguards and then took pictures, but was still mistreated and took his mobile phone.
