Through the efforts of the Nangarhar Rural Development and Rehabilitation Agency, food was distributed to 400 poor families in the Dur Baba district by the World Food Program (WFP) and with the technical assistance of the FGA. At the same time, food aid was provided to 2602 needy families in the Goshta district of Nangarhar.
A statement from the Nangarhar provincial media office said the aid was provided by the World Food Program (WFP) in the Goshta district in collaboration with SVA.
On the other hand, the Department of Refugee Affairs conducted a survey of eight families in the district, which officials said would soon provide cash assistance to needy families.
It is to be noted that earlier WFP in collaboration with FGA had also provided food aid to the needy families in all the districts.
