Local officials in Bamyan say the Doab Mekhzarin coal mine in Kahmard district has collected 76 million afghanis in revenue over the past six months.
BNA reported that most of these mines are used for coal mining and hundreds of people are employed in them.
The money is said to have come from small and large mines in the district.
According to media reports, a total of 162 million rupees has been collected from Bamyan in the last six months.
The Doab Mekhzarin coal mine in Kahmard district of Bamyan province was inactive during the previous government and mining has resumed this winter.
