Abdullah Abdullah met with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Filippo Grande.
He wrote on his official Facebook page that the meeting focused on Afghan refugees and IDPs.
Mr Abdullah added that the international community and the United Nations should continue their assistance to Afghanistan.
Refugee Commissioner Filippo Grande arrived in Kabul on Monday and met with some Taliban officials.
He said the purpose of his visit to Afghanistan was to study the humanitarian and refugee situation in the country in order to find the necessary solutions to the situation.
He added that the situation in Afghanistan should not be ignored due to the Ukraine refugee crisis.
