\nI watched an interview on Facebook in which a girl is being interviewed in Urdu. The reporter asks her about her occupation. She replies that she belongs to Peshawar and has come to Lahore as a prostitute. While hearing the voice and dialect of the girl one doubts that she is not\u00a0 Pashtun and has been trained to speak as a Pashtun speaks but she fails. In the same interview, she says that boys and girls from Afghanistan are also involved in this business. It must be in consideration that there is no such brothel house in a Pashtun city as it is located in one of the famous provincial capitals of Pakistan.<\/p>\n
Facebook is full of such videos where
\nmaking fun of Pashtuns has become a common phenomenon. They are shown as stubborn, drivers, watchmen, etc. They have been portrayed as saved, anti-social, and against the rights of women folk.<\/p>\n
On another Facebook page, a girl asks
\nYoung Pashtun boys that’s why Pashtuns get married so early and then she laughs. She also asks Pashtun boys, will they marry me and then laughs again. This is just for getting ratting.<\/p>\n
Sodomy and gay sex is not confined to any nation but Pashtun has been presented as a victim of it. While searching Google it reveals that the biggest gay city of Pakistan is not a Pashtun city.<\/p>\n
An individual act of a person should not be considered an act done by a whole nation. There may be some prostitutes and gays in a Pashtun society but the other nations and societies are not spared.
