He said the government intended to implement major projects for Afghanistan&#8217;s self-sufficiency, including the Qosh Tepa Canal. The opening ceremony of the canal was attended by a large number of Islamic Emarat leaders. Abdul Rahman Attash, chief executive of the company, said the canal would provide employment to 5,000 people across the country. The Qosh Tepa Canal is 285 kilometers long, 100 meters wide and 8 and a half meters deep, starting in Balkh province and ending in the Andkhoi district of Faryab province.
