He did not mention the opening of schools.<br \/>\nThe Ministry of Education (MoE) had earlier announced that with the opening of the new academic year, classes up to the sixth grade would be open to girls today.<br \/>\nA spokesman for the Taliban&#8217;s education ministry, Aziz Ahmad Ryan, told Reuters on Thursday that all schools would be open to boys and girls next solar year.<br \/>\n&#8220;No school will be closed this year and if any school is closed, it is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education to reopen it,&#8221; he said.<br \/>\nBut BNA reported from the Ministry of Education that the lessons of girls above 6th grade have been postponed till the second order.<br \/>\n&#8220;All girls&#8217; schools and high schools above the sixth grade are informed that classes in these schools and high schools have been postponed until further notice,&#8221; the ministry said in a statement.<br \/>\nThe Ministry of Education (MoE) has stated that the reason for the delay in the girls&#8217; education is the preparation of a plan in accordance with Sharia and Afghan tradition and culture. The leadership should order schools and high schools to be notified again. &#8221;<br \/>\nAziz Ahmad Ryan, the Taliban&#8217;s education minister, confirmed the ministry&#8217;s announcement and told reporters that he had received the decision from the Taliban leadership&#8217;s office yesterday.<br \/>\nThe Taliban announced the opening of schools for boys and girls up to the sixth grade after taking control of Afghanistan on August 15, 2021, but closed the schools for girls up to the sixth grade.<br \/>\nThe Taliban&#8217;s education ministry said it was working on a comprehensive plan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning of the new school year;
