According to Indian media reports, the Afghan Taliban government has asked India to open an embassy in Kabul.<\/p>\n

Suhail Shaheen, head of the Taliban’s Qatar office, said on Thursday that the Taliban government was ready to provide a safe environment for India’s diplomatic presence in Kabul, which is important for bilateral relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

“We urge all countries, including India, which have embassies in Kabul, to open their embassies and resume normal operations,” Shaheen said. We are committed to providing them with a safe and secure environment. “Diplomatic presence is important for the development of bilateral relations.”
\nMr. Shaheen did not post the details on his Twitter account. But yesterday, a private university in Kandahar published pictures of many girls and boys graduating and congratulated them on their graduation.<\/p>\n
