In the colder parts of Afghanistan, state universities reopened on Saturday (February 26th) in a number of other provinces, including Kabul.<\/p>\n

The Taleban’s Ministry of Higher Education says state universities are open to girls and boys, but says girls will go to school in the morning and boys in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Ahmad Taqi, spokesman for the ministry, said the higher education plan would enable the education process to continue.<\/p>\n

According to the ministry, the universities were closed due to financial problems and are also working on new approaches.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that public universities have already opened in hot areas of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

For the past six months, girls and boys have been receiving special classes in private universities under the auspices of the Taliban government. But the doors of middle schools for girls are still closed.<\/p>\n
