Britain on Wednesday ordered 1000 of its troops to be ready to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in the event of Russian attack on Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The order comes as Britain’s prime minister is scheduled to meet with NATO and Polish leaders on Thursday, February 10.<\/p>\n

Johnson will travel to Brussels, the capital of Belgium, and Warsaw, the capital of Poland, to discuss the pain of NATO principles. The British prime minister will also hold talks with NATO leaders on how to support his country in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Mr Johnson’s visit to Brussels and Warsaw comes as Russia deploys more than 100,000 troops near its border with Ukraine. The move, which has caused concern not only in the West but also in the United States, has prompted Russia to attack Ukraine at any moment, an accusation Russia has vehemently denied.<\/p>\n

The visit of the British Prime Minister is part of an international diplomacy aimed at reducing tensions between Ukraine and Russia.<\/p>\n

On Monday and Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelinci.<\/p>\n

US Vice President Kamala Harris is also scheduled to meet with US allies and partners at a security conference in Munich next week.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Britain’s defense and foreign ministers are scheduled to meet with their Russian counterparts in Moscow this week.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has said in a statement that the United Kingdom is committed to the security of Europe and stressed that Western nations have rules that cannot be compromised.<\/p>\n

The statement added that Johnson would also meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss Britain’s military assistance to NATO partners.<\/p>\n
