Another Afghan security source says that the Paksitani forces have captured a border checkpoint in Gustha district of Nangarhar province.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The clash started on Saturday night in Goshta after Pakistani military forces allegedly fired a number of missiles into the district and Afghan security forces responded, a security source in Nangarhar said.<\/p>\n

A source on condition of anonymity said that an Afghan soldier was killed and 2 others were wounded during the clashes between Afghan and Pakistani forces.<\/p>\n

The incident took place after the Pakistani forces started shelling Goshta district, forcing the Afghan forces to respond.<\/p>\n

This comes as a similar incident took place in Goshta district on April 2014 following Pakistani militia forces attack attacked Goshta district.<\/p>\n

Goshta borders with Pakistan and has reportedly come under missile attack by Pakistani forces on a number of occasions.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Pakistani authorities have said two security personnel were injured in mortar fire from Afghanistan, including a major and another security personal.<\/p>\n

The security officials quoted by pakistani media have said at least nine shells were fired on the Ziarat checkpost at around 4.30pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
